The MedEx Summer Camp consists of a variety of different hands-on workshops. It has a similar structure to medical conferences.

Medex Summer Camp is perfect for students who are interested in learning more about healthcare, or for students who already know they are interested and want to set themselves apart from other people by having the opportunity to gain a more clear understanding and have healthcare leadership experience which can be extremely hard to find! The ideal student will come in with a positive attitude and motivation to learn! 

We encourage students to bring their own lunch from home. We will provide a morning and afternoon snack during the camp. 

Absolutely! 

A $75 non-refundable registration fee is included in each Medical Explorers Summer Camp registration. To receive a refund of the remaining amount paid, a cancellation request must be submitted in writing at least 30 calendar days before the first scheduled day of camp.

Cancellations received fewer than 30 calendar days before camp are non-refundable. No refunds or prorated refunds are provided for no-shows, late arrivals, early departures, or missed camp days.

Medical Explorers may, at its sole discretion, review documented extraordinary circumstances and consider a transfer to another available camp during the same season. Transfers are not guaranteed and are subject to availability and operational approval.

If Medical Explorers cancels the camp and does not provide a substantially equivalent replacement, all amounts paid, including the $75 registration fee, will be refunded.

By completing registration, the purchaser acknowledges that they have reviewed and agreed to this cancellation and refund policy.

We have a few sponsors who may be able to help cover some of the cost of attendance.

Absolutely! By sponsoring a student to attend our Medical Explorers Summer Conference, you're investing in the future of healthcare and empowering young minds to explore potential careers in the medical field. We are also a non-profit organization so once your donation is received you will get a donation receipt with our EIN which can be used for tax-purposes.

Yes! With the exception of Kansas City, all Medical Explorers summer camps are hosted at venues with on-site or connected hotel accommodations. Discounted room rates are available at select locations for families attending camp.

For our Kansas City camp, we can provide recommendations for nearby hotels, although we do not have a discounted room block for this location.

Hotel details, booking links, and reservation deadlines (when applicable) will be included in your location-specific registration confirmation email.

We encourage families to book early, as discounted rates are subject to availability and reservation deadlines.
